Built to track flights.
Not to sell you things.
Vayu is a personal project that got out of hand — in the best way.
The story
I built Vayu because I was tired of refreshing a website every three minutes waiting for someone's flight to land. Every existing option was either a cluttered mess of ads, a paywalled subscription, or a native app that required an account just to see a flight status.
I'm a developer. There had to be a better way. So I made one.
This is my first app. I built it to scratch my own itch, not to sell it. Turns out I wasn't the only one with the itch.
The data powering every live update isn't free — I pay for it out of pocket every month. If Vayu has ever got you to arrivals at exactly the right time, a coffee keeps the servers on.
What Vayu does
No ads. No paywall. No account.
Vayu will never show you an ad. There is no premium tier. There is no free trial. It does not ask for your name, email address, or phone number — because it has absolutely no reason to.
You search a flight. You track it. That's the whole thing.

The full experience — with live Dynamic Island, Lock Screen widget, and push notifications — is available on iOS and Android.
Vayu — Sanskrit for wind, air, the breath between places.
